Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for receiving and performing job assignments through work orders, sketches, PM schedules, blueprints, or verbal instructions. They will follow applicable codes and regulations on work performed and respond to emergency requests for repairs or replacements. The candidate will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of production machinery and equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and parts.
Responsibilities
Perform installations, modifications, and relocations of machinery and equipment.
Carry out fabrication, welding, mechanical, electrical, electronics, plumbing, carpentry, and other maintenance tasks.
Repair and modify buildings and plant systems as required.
Read and interpret manuals, schematics, blueprints, drawings, and other written installation and repair instructions.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of assigned plant equipment, machinery, and systems including gauges, filters, fluid levels, system readings, cooling tower, gas burners, air compressors, chillers, etc.
Focus on conveyor and production equipment on the floor.
Complete work orders on blowing machinery, extrusion, and slitting machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience troubleshooting and repairing components such as rolls, shafts, bearings, drive belts, drive chains, and gearboxes.
Experience with servo control systems (nice to have)
Process control and instrumentation experience (temperature, flow, pressure, level, etc.)
Ability to perform all required PM and ISO Calibration for plant production equipment.
Experience with conveyor machinery (must have)
Experience with injection mold/slitter machinery (nice to have)
