Microsoft Corporation Communications: Student Worker Opportunities in Munich, Germany
We are looking for an Employee Communications & Engagement Student Worker who will support the development and delivery of communication programs and experiences that keep our employees informed, engaged and proud to be at Microsoft.
You will assist in handling organizational communication matters and work alongside communication team members who are responsible for employee, corporate and commercial communications at local, regional, and global level.
The role requires a passion for language and communication, willingness to learn, as well as creativity to shape our employee experience in a hybrid world in line with Microsoft’s mission, strategy, values, and culture.

Responsibilities
Start date: March/April 2025
Duration: 20 hours per week
Type of Employment: Student Worker
Support the development and delivery of impactful employee communications campaigns and initiatives focused on Microsoft’s key strategic and cultural priorities, such as Business Strategy, Diversity & Inclusion, Hybrid Work, New Leadership
Drafting and editing copy for regular communication formats such as internal newsletters, announcementsand posts
Help organize internal events such as hybrid townhalls
Manage and evolve employee engagement channels and communities
Monitor analytics to assess the effectiveness of communication initiatives
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications or a related discipline (e.g. Journalism, PR, Language Studies)
Legally authorized to work in Germany (Legally authorized = Has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit)
Fluency in verbal and written English
Fluency in verbal and written German
Preferred Qualifications:
High interest in employee engagement and communication
Self-organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience in communications, e.g. through a previous internship or student worker job, is beneficial
