NBC Universal Senior Manager Sales Liaison GAS (f/m/d) in Munich, Germany
NBCUniversal Global Distribution is responsible for the sales and distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of television and new media platforms in over 200 territories across the globe. This includes a rich library of more than 6,000 feature films and 170,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, sports, news, long-form and short-form programming, and locally produced content from around the world.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for entire sales process and developing strong business relationships with selected clients across all rights in the German-speaking territories for Linear, Non-linear, and Transactional
Special focus on sales of our product portfolio to Basic-Pay Channels and selected SVOD clients
Develop and implement business with new clients outside the traditional channels and platform portfolio
Maximizing revenues by determining strategic sales, analyzing competing deals and market landscape, developing product and packaging strategies
Joined sales of our kid’s product portfolio across all rights in cooperation with our Kids team in London
Identifying new business opportunities and streams of revenue, securing deals with first-time clients
Creating benchmark analyses (fees, deal terms)
Liaising with other local European and global sales teams to drive and execute international / pan-regional deals
Cultivating and maintaining relationship with clients, building strong network with business partners, attending trade fairs and screening events
Closely liaising with internal departments (Marketing, Business & Legal Affairs, Finance, Sales Admin, Material, Dubbing, Tech, Research) to ensure smooth processing of deals and timely response to client needs
Translating client needs into custom proposals: creating content packages, dedicated product presentations and sales pitches. Creatively tailoring them to each client, liaising with marketing department to create new sales material (trailers, visuals) if necessary.
Responding to ad-hoc requests by providing timely and accurate reporting and analyses
Outstanding sales experience, with a strong preference in Television and New Media distribution or acquisition
Strong commercial acumen, proven track record of driving revenue growth in the entertainment sector
Practical experience of driving and leading content deal negotiations with third parties
Understanding of the Linear and New Media/Digital landscape. GAS experience preferred
Proven strategic thinker; capable of translating business objectives into tactical action plans and milestones
Team player with great interpersonal skills and who is enthusiastic, inquisitive, and driven
Strong organizational skills: reliable, detail-focused, strong sense of initiative with the ability to effectively handle multiple competing priorities
Excellent written/oral communication, influencing and coordination skills and attention to detail
A passion for film and television content & the evolving filmed entertainment industry
Strong plus, experience with growing and developing long lasting relationships with New Media, Free TV, pay/satellite/cable/broadband customers
