Murray State University Digital Press Operator I in Murray, Kentucky
Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Operation and maintenance of a digital press to ensure high quality printed materials such as brochures, posters and newsletters.
Operation of Quick Print service (walk-up service for students, faculty and staff for small copy requests)
Operation and maintenance of large format printing equipment (banners, posters, yard signs, stickers, etc.)
Responsible for coursepack printing/assembly for Bookstore orders
Serve as backup for main press operator
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements:
Two years of press operation (digital or offset) experience required. Education may be substituted for a portion of the experience requirement.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with different deadlines.
Formal print graphics training, including post-production experience or on-the-job training in printing.
Hourly Rate: $14.18 (Additional pay dependent upon qualifications)
Work Hours:
- Normal working hours with some overtime.
