D C MOTORS PLUS INC mechanic/service technician in MUSKEGO, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Repair, install, adjust, or maintain industrial production and processing machinery or refinery and pipeline distribution systems. Technicians are to diagnose and repair material handling equipment such as fork lift trucks (gas, diesel, LP gas, or electrically powered) Oil changes, tune ups, maintenance, motor & transmission work will be included in duties. Will start by working in the air conditioned shop to repair our customers\' equipment. Will advise manager of what parts are needed, process paperwork, and maintain good housekeeping in the service area. This job requires a strong mechanical aptitude and good troubleshooting skills. Requires a valid driver\'s license with a good driving record IF interested in becoming an on the road mechanic. You must be able to push, pull and carry up to 100 lbs. Must be able to pass a pre-placement drug test if interviewer feels it is necessary as a requirement for the position. Must have own tools, good customer service skills and be dependable. Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery. Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs. Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs. Record parts or materials used and order or requisition new parts or materials as necessary. Record repairs and maintenance performed. Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment. Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment. Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear. Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices.
