Saf-Holland, Inc. Customer Service Representative - Aftermarket in Muskegon, Michigan
Summary of Job Duties: Receives and processes orders and/or inquiries from customers. Serve as liaison between SAF HOLLAND, its customers, and the field Sales force by performing duties as outlined.
Qualifications Required: Qualification 1: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) as a minimum. Qualification 2: Associate degree or equivalent in Business from a two-year college or technical school preferred. Qualification 3: Minimum of one-year related experience and/or training in customer service or sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualification 4: Ability to use Microsoft Office application with accuracy/speed. Qualification 5: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Qualification 6: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Qualification 7: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to write both internal and external correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond in one on one and small group situations. Qualification 8: Ability to use technical catalogs and service manuals as well as refer to and understand schematic drawings, microfiche slides, and blueprints to assist customers.
