Position Highlights:
Full Time, Hybrid setting.
Health Care setting.
Senior staff position within the organization that works with Leadership Team, management, staff, and external customers.
Hybrid remote role with anticipated 1 to 2 days in the office per week. Ideal candidate will reside in the West Michigan area.
What the Sr. Financial Analyst will do:
Serves as a business consultant / financial advisor to the organization / management team regarding financial and business decisions related to the operations of the organization.
Consultant / systems analyst for all aspects of organizational healthcare cost accounting and reporting.
Responsible for the revenue management cycle related to quarterly rolling forecast and month end financials.
Financial lead for all acute care productivity measures, process and improvements.
What the Sr. Financial Analyst will need:
Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare; Administration and will consider others with appropriate work experience.
Minimum, Two years of experience in Finance or Accounting - financial modeling, business pro-formas, operating and capital budgeting, cost accounting / product line analysis, benchmarking, productivity, and strategic financial modeling.
Understanding of hospital / clinic operations, project management skills, and process improvement techniques.
Knowledge of healthcare industry revenue management cycle (reimbursement, payors, DRG/ APC, coding aspects), Cost Accounting.
Healthcare productivity knowledge.
Report writing with various systems including: EPIC, Business Intelligence, McKesson PM. PeopleSoft General Ledger experience.
