Carsome Senior Executive, Property Planning & Management in Mutiara Damansara, Malaysia
About You
You will be responsible to oversee the maintenance of all type of business properties operated by CARSOME to ensure it is in operational condition at all times by managing the preventive maintenance and provide solutions for reactive maintenance with proper documentations, cost effective method and timely completion. Additionally, you will participate in project planning.
Your Day-to-Day
• Oversee and manage daily facility operations, including inspections, repairs, maintenance, cleaning, landscaping,
pest control, and air conditioning services. Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and service providers
to ensure optimal functionality and adherence to operational requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all maintenance-related issues.
• Initiate tender processes/procurement processes with contractors for all maintenance issues and assigned projects.
• Supervise and monitor third-party contractors to ensure compliance with contract terms and approved scopes of
work.
• Verify quotations, invoices, delivery orders, reports, and on-site work completion for financial management
purposes.
• Conduct periodic building maintenance audit and inspections with proper checklist for all properties.
• Implement space planning and utilization strategies, including layout planning and ill of quantities (BOQ) for
tenders.
• Maintain accurate records of facility assets, including equipment, furniture, and fixtures. Develop and executive
maintenance program to ensure assets are property serviced and replaced when necessary.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to develop workplace strategies that enhance productivity, employee
satisfaction and organizational objectives.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with external contractors, suppliers and service providers. Coordinate
vendor selection processes to ensure quality services and timely delivery within budget constraints.
• Assist in project management for property development and renovation projects, overseeing them from inception
to completion as needed.
• Assist superiors in developing departmental forms, enhancing procedures, preparing reports, and managing other
projects outside of this scope as needed.
Your Know-How
• Candidate must posses at least a degree, diploma or professional certification.
• At least 4 years of experience in property and facility management field. Additional skills in hand tools, power
tools, electrical and mechanical knowledge, and fire safety and OSHA certifications are added advantage.
• Food command of written and spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proven ability to thrived in fast-paced and dynamic work environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
• Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Resourceful in identifying suitable vendors or service providers to resolve reported issues.
• Proficient in Google Slides, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Drive.
• Skilled in negotiation and basic AutoCAD.
• Willingness to travel for work purposes and responsive outside regular working hours when required.
