SGI Global, LLC Finance Analyst in México D.F., Mexico

México D.F., MEX | Full Time

SGI Global LLC is seeking fluent Spanish speaking Finance Analyst to support the Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) in Mexico City, Mexico, which require s professional and administrative support services to work with the U.S. Foreign Assistance Program to Mexico.

Qualifications:

+ + Minimum of five (5) years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within an international or government setting.

  • Associate's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A bachelor's degree in accounting is a plus.

  • Familiarity with accounting software and financial management systems.

  • Strong understanding of Mexican accounting principles and financial regulations.

  • Experience with invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.

  • At least 4 years of experience working in a Project Management Office (PMO).

  • Proficiency in Spanish and English.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively

    Duties:

    • Assist the Finance Officer in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting systems.
  • Prepare and process invoices, ensuring timely payment to vendors and accurate billing to clients, including the U.S. government.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including tracking payments and reconciling accounts.

  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of financial documentation, including contracts, invoices, and tax records.

  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve any financial discrepancies or issues.

  • Ensure compliance with Mexican financial regulations and U.S. government contractual requirements.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial audits and respond to audit queries.

  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial transactions and documentation.

  • Support the Finance Officer in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

  • Perform other administrative tasks as required by the Finance Officer to support the financial operations of the project.
