You will succeed in this position if you have the ability to prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation and be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close. Participation in compliance, interaction with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and reviewing schedules reporting processes are also expected tasks. To be preferred for this position, you will need to have a complex understanding Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets.

Organize and review various financial data, then report it in a manner that is useful and understandable
Contribute to the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP
Manage schedules for monthly payments and capital lease
Maintain intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation
Produce analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for reporting by management
Periodic maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries
Ad hoc reporting and performing special projects upon request
Take part in various department-wide initiatives
Maintain depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation
Thorough experience with month end balance sheet account reconciliations
Support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process, which includes monthly financial close workbook preparation
Perform month end close, journal entries, with minimum supervision
Assemble journal entries and thorough account reconciliations that include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll
Requirements - Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills
Recent and relevant accounting experience
Knowledgeable of ERP systems
Fully formed organizational, written and verbal communication skills
Spreadsheet and database capabilities
BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
Microsoft Excel experience desired
Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
