We are looking for an exceptional Change Manager for the Global Change Management team to join the Change Team in Operations at a time of strategic and business critical growth. The Change Manager is responsible for performing cross-functional and cross-departmental day to day operational tasks demanded by process activities and works closely with the Process Owner. Your role is to ensure stable business operations with all production infrastructure and application changes, acting as a gatekeeper and providing a service by closely collaborating with our users. This role operates on the defined and agreed process looking towards continuous improvements and implementing feedback from our customers.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Reviews and approves changes by verifying they are in line with the process, deliverables are logged in the tool and communication is in place

• Improving change as a service, putting the end-user at the center of the change process and applying lessons learned into practice

• Facilitates, logs and manages (regional) Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings

• Performs in a team environment, meets deadlines and has attention for details

• Provide leadership and cross-functional partners with updates, reports, content and presentations, as necessary

• Collaborate with third party vendors, IT teams, business sponsors and departments in order to understand and assess the risk and requirements for any given change as necessary

• Escalates to Production Assurance Committee (PASC) for urgent changes

• Understands the fiscal year calendar, freeze periods, adjusted processes and is able to communicate this clearly to stakeholders

• Contributes towards continuous improvement

• Educates and supports end-users

• Reviewing process metrics and KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators)

• Participates in internal and external audits as required.

• Keep up-to-date with training and learning industry trends, best practices, new technologies, and emerging innovations

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree

• Experience with Change Management

• Experience with ServiceNow and specifically the Change module

• Experience with ITIL processes and tools

Nice to Have

• Previous Medtronic experience

• Experience working in a global team

• Analytical problem-solving skills

• Strong leadership qualities and facilitation skills with the ability to lead service delivery teams through assessment and mitigation activities.

• Customer focused, team player and prepared to go the extra mile to deliver IT services to the customer.

• Time management skills and the ability to prioritize are crucial.

• Experience in working in a large or complex IT environment.

• Ability to make sound and quick decisions.
