Engineer specializing in System Integration and Testing, you will be integral to the definition, design, and

validation of complex medical device systems aimed at treating conditions associated with the central

nervous system. These systems incorporate intricate electronic circuits, wireless communication,

batteries, and a blend of consumer and medical technologies, all aimed at delivering innovative solutions

to the market.

The Engineering R&D function at MEIC, Hyderabad oversees the design, development, and validation

activities throughout the New Product Development (NPD) and Sustaining phases of the product

development lifecycle for our Global Business Units (GBUs).

Position Responsibilities:

As a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in System Integration and Testing, your role is dynamic and

multifaceted, involving strategic planning, implementation, and ongoing management of critical systems

infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth integration,

validation, and testing of medical device systems. Your responsibilities include:

  • Defining and implementing integration strategies to ensure seamless integration of system components.

  • Developing and executing test plans and protocols to validate system performance and functionality.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, define system specifications, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Analyzing test results, identifying areas for optimization, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and requirements throughout the integration and testing process.

  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain competitiveness.

Must Have: Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, System Engineering, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Proven experience in system integration and testing, preferably in the medical device industry.

  • Knowledge of integration strategies, test methodologies, and validation principles.

  • Experience in developing and executing test plans and protocols.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems issues in a timely manner.

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse groups to achieve common goals.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Commitment to staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.

  • Knowledge of System Regulation requirements.

  • Strong verbal/written communication and influence management skills.

  • Proven ability to accomplish critical project-level objectives in a team environment.

Nice to Have

  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Systems Engineer (CSE).

  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

  • Knowledge of Medical regulatory requirements.

  • Experience in System Engineering discipline or use of system engineering methodologies.

Years of Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in the industry with a Bachelor’s degree.

  • 8+ years of experience in the industry with a Master’s degree.
