The Job

As a Maintenance & Facility Manager, you’ll be part of our team located in Nantong. You’ll get to:

  • Manage factory expansion, construction and start-up, responsible for production and facility equipment installation, layout, commissioning, and qualification

  • Manage the facility and production equipment daily performance through plan, implement, and control preventative maintenance programs

  • Manage the emergency repair of production and facility support equipment to minimize the impact on production and order fulfillment

  • Manage equipment performance, warranty, maintenance, trouble-shooting, optimization, upgrade, Engineering Procedures, PM documents, and spare parts

  • Manage team performance, develop team members on technical and managerial skills

  • Manage the relationship with other functions including process, quality control, manufacturing, suppliers, and other departments to support production on daily basis and project

  • Develop and track various KPI relating to maintenance & facility such as MTBF (Mean time between failure), MTTR, Break down maintenance time, machine utilization rate, etc in order to make improvements

  • Develop budgets and manage the cost of maintenance & facility department.

  • Work closely with Operation Manager to identify lean opportunity and drive facility utilization and cost reduction project;

  • Be responsible to building setup and office expansion project, Inclusive of site due diligence, government affairs, project management and project handover and startup, working with Purchasing Department on supplier evaluate and monitor, interact with the facility suppliers to ensure the economical, efficient and qualified service

  • Manage DI Water / WWTP for the site.

The Person

  • Minimum of 15 years working experience in Maintenance & Facility Management and at least 5 years in a manager role in a manufacturing environment

  • Good communication skills, a team player, familiar with concepts such as IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, etc.

  • Bachelor degree or above is necessary, major in mechanical/electrical technology or similar Major/Specialty

  • Independent self-motivated and well organized with analytical mind.

  • Experience on new facility start-up project is preferred

  • Experience in cleaning room and DI water system and WWTP system is preferred

  • Be familiar with stamping, cold forming and mechanical products

  • Experience of working for a multinational company

  • Knowledge of IATF16949, ISO9001, QC080000 and HSF is preferred.

  • Knowledge of PLC is preferred
