Job Overview:
The Restaurant Manager at Quarry Beach Club in Naples, FL, offers an exciting opportunity to oversee day-to-day operations within the food and beverage department at a private, member-owned community.
As the Restaurant Manager, you’ll be responsiblefor assigned area within the food and beverage department with some focus on banquets and events. Directly supervises the Servers, Bartenders, Food Runners etc.
Trains and supervises service staff and applies Quarry Beach standards to assure that the wants and needs of the club members and guests are consistently exceeded.
Club Overview
Quarry Beach Club, recently renovated in December 2023, is a private waterfront club with a variety of recreational amenities including a resort pool, lap pool, fitness center, tennis, pickleball, bocce courts, and boating. The club serves an active membership of 905 homes and features two dining venues. It generates over $2.5 million annually in food and beverage revenue, with a strong focus on a la carte dining.
Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Quarry Beach team members, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and the Company’s standard of excellence is met
- Assures that effective orientation and training for new staff and professional development activities for experienced staff are implemented.
- Responsible for all hiring of new staff based on club needs.
- Prepare and manage weekly work schedules for the team, based on labor forecasts and business needs, and timely submit payroll.
- Monitor the preparation of station assignments and work with the team to ensure preparations are complete prior to opening.
- Maintain documentation of food and beverage department.
- Consults with the Director of Food and Beverage, Executive Chef, Lifestyle and Events Director to help assure the highest level of member satisfaction at minimum cost.
- Greets members/guests and oversees actual service on a routine basis
- Personally, handles selected member and guests complaints and advises the Director of Food and Beverage about appropriate corrective actions taken.
- Assists in planning and implementing of procedures for special club events and banquet functions
- Maintain high visibility with the membership.
- Attend F&B and manager meetings as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- At least 2 years in fine dining restaurants, with private club experience a plus.
- Must be detail orientated, to ensure the restaurant and team meet the standards of excellence expected by our guests.
- CMAA Member or aspiration to be a member.
- Outgoing personality type who seeks engagement with Members & Guests.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, work long hours as needed, and lift up to 25 pounds.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 20 – 35 lbs;
- Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time;
- Walk and climb stairs;
- Handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment;
- Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms;
- Communicate, receive and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word;
- Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions;
- Complete all required forms.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Directly or indirectly supervise associates within the assigned property.

Compensation: $65,000 – $70,000 annually
