Job Description:

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with a passion for woodworking and a keen interest in manufacturing processes to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be adept at using Fusion 360 for 3D modeling, CAM, and documentation, transforming designs into print-ready and manufacturable assets. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between design and production, ensuring a streamlined manufacturing process that upholds the quality and excellence CHaSE Manufacturing is renowned for.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with internal design personnel and clients to interpret and realize design visions

Utilize Fusion 360 to develop 3D models, CAM, and documentation based on the provided designs Utilize SolidWorks to develop and maintain legacy documentation based on the provided designs

Work agilely through a Kanban board for task management, diligently documenting and prioritizing tasks to maintain workflow efficiency

Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing, adhering to quality standards and specifications

Collaborate with the production team to facilitate a seamless transition from design to manufacturing

Continuously seek opportunities to enhance manufacturing processes, optimizing for cost, time, and quality

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience

Experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the woodworking industry, is an asset

Willingness to learn and adapt to Fusion 360 for 3D modeling, CAM, and documentation

Experience working in an agile-like environment, with proficiency in tools like Trello for task management

Excellent communication skills, with an ability to work collaboratively and foster relationships with team members and customers
