Job Summary and Qualifications

The Director, Change Management is responsible for enabling the adoption and utilization of Care Transformation & Innovation (CT&I) products designed to digitally transform care delivery in HCA Healthcare hospitals. This role will develop and implement change management and adoption strategies for enterprise-level product implementations, building change capability and agility across the organization and empowering teams to embrace new technologies and processes to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the CT&I product teams, leaders, implementation teams, and stakeholders to understand the issues and challenges involved in driving change across HCA Healthcare hospitals

  • Develop, execute, and assess scalable and repeatable change management strategies and approaches for enterprise product deployment (these strategies include, stakeholder engagement, sponsor management, change readiness, change champion network, coaching, resistance management, and transition to sustainment)

  • Coordinate with communications and education team members to deploy comprehensive stakeholder support before, during, and after implementation

  • Identify, assess, and incorporate impacts resulting from product enhancements and improvements into enterprise CM strategies and plans

  • Build change leadership competency across the organization through the development of change leadership skills and identification/recognition of relevant experiences

  • Coach employees, managers, and senior leaders on effective change management and change leadership approaches

  • Design, launch and lead change networks for enterprise products

  • Develop change measurement processes and monitor change readiness, adoption and change success

  • Design and lead effective methods (surveys, focus groups, etc.) to gather stakeholders feedback and know the pulse of the organization

  • Coordinate change efforts with the project team, project sponsors, and business leaders

  • Ensure executive alignment through proactive and appropriate communication and presentation deliverables

  • Consult with stakeholders on their challenges, diagnose root causes and implement mitigation strategies

  • Effectively navigate the HCA Healthcare network across stakeholder groups and functional areas, to implement a cohesive change strategy

  • This job may require up to 50% travel

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

  • Master's Degree Preferred

  • Certification in Change Management Preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Behaviors:

  • Previous Organizational Change Management leadership experience (complex project experience and/or enterprise implementation experience is preferred), minimum 7 years

  • Fluent and current on Change Management trends

  • Excellent organizational and time-management, and interpersonal collaboration skills

  • Proven ability to work and multi-task under pressure, respond quickly to changing situations in complex project environments

  • Experience working in a matrixed environment

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills

  • Innovative problem-solving expertise in environments of healthcare

  • Comfort utilizing technology to solve problems and complete tasks

  • Ability to build, develop, and sustain relationships

  • Strong facilitation skills
