We are seeking an experienced Demand Marketing operations leader to join our team in creating a new generation of marketing processes and tools to enable Bridgestone’s Customer 360 strategy, a critical driver of Bridgestone’s journey to transform the transportation and mobility ecosystems over the next 5 years. As we plan to invest in new and upgraded marketing technologies (such as Customer Data Platform, Marketing Automation, Journey Optimization, Account Based Marketing platforms), this leader will have the opportunity to create the processes and teams needed to power our Demand and Relationship marketing efforts across the enterprise, including adoption and usage of our new processes and tools in partnership with business unit marketers, the marketing COE, sales and IT.
Note: This position is a remote role no relocation required.
Responsibilities
Job functions include but are not limited to:
Develops and owns Demand Marketing processes, including mapping current state, and implementing future state processes.
Selects, develops, and leads members of the Demand Marketing Operations team, across the Americas and EMEAI including leveraging centers of excellence
Partners with members of the Enterprise Digital Services team and IT in tools selection and configuration
Maximizes the adoption and usage of selected MarTech tools
Partners closely with business unit marketers, IT, sales and sales operations teams to drive adoption and best practice sharing
Provides strong thought leadership on the development of the Bridgestone MarTech roadmap, as well as the Data and Analytics strategy
Partner closely with sales operations to ensure key marketing data is updated in our CRM for reporting, dashboards, and analytics
Develop an analytics roadmap, including defining business analytics, and create dashboards and reports to support and measure all aspects of the demand and relationship marketing engine: including database cleanliness, campaign effectiveness, and overall business performance
Partner with digital services team to provide customer data enrichment and activation adoption/utilization reporting and forecasting
Develops business cases as required for expansion of demand and relationship marketing
Provides product evangelization, consulting, standards enforcement, and education associated with demand and relationship marketing.
Establishes and maintains high-trust relationships across stakeholders and partners
Leads other various Demand and Relationship marketing team projects and initiatives as needed
Supports, and works across, a broad set of enterprise stakeholders in a variety of businesses including software, services and hard goods through direct, indirect and retail channels.
Must be able to communicate with executive leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of diverse, relevant experience in marketing operations
Fluency in the languages of marketing, sales, and technology
Strong process orientation and analytical mindset
Experience standing up and driving adoption of new MarTech tools.
Experience building teams and processes to support marketing in a business to business marketing environment
Ability to influence actions and coordinate activity in large, matrixed global environments across multiple stakeholder groups without direct authority
Strong change management expertise to bring people along, engaging key stakeholders in change efforts
Bachelor’s degree ; 10+ years of relevant experience including 7+ years management or leadership experience
Or Master’s degree; 8+ years of relevant experience including 5-7 years management or leadership experience
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline
MBA
Business to business and business to consumer marketing experience, including account based marketing experience
Lean/Six Sigma training (or equivalent)
