The Director, IT Portfolio Management for Enterprise Information Protection (EIP) develops and executes on programs defined to implement security controls, defenses and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce and web-based systems. This role requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the function or segment and is able to apply system-thinking strategies to deploying solutions critical to keeping Humana’s systems, assets, and employees safe and secure. The candidate is abreast of latest trends in technology and innovation to improve and mature Humana’s security posture.
The Director develops and executes on programs defined to implement security controls, defenses and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce and web-based systems. This role oversees the execution of EIP strategic initiatives which includes identification of appropriate resources needed and develops schedules to ensure timely completion of initiatives. Leads program execution to deliver longer term business value. Can possess specialized knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks used to manage risks and issues unique to technology projects. Decisions are typically related to the implementation of new/updated program to deliver on strategic plans, drives goals and objectives, and improves performance.
This role guides EIP organization through the transition to Agile Ways of Working and drives continued adherence to optimal Agile work practices. Promotes a culture of innovation by implementing Agile processes and principles which include techniques to increase collaboration, predictability, transparency and velocity. May provide on-going iteration management for high profile initiatives to provide real-time coaching as well as to gather and share Agile best practices across EIP.

Job Responsibilities:
Organizes and prioritizes projects, programs, iterations etc. based on EIP strategic roadmap, prioritized budgets, and ensures that the appropriate financial and organizational support is being allocated in support of those goals.
Requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across EIP and the enterprise and is able to apply system-thinking strategies to deploying solutions critical to keeping Humana’s systems, assets, and employees safe and secure.
Guides EIP transition and drives continued adherence to optimal /Agile ways of working.
Strategic and significant contributions to quarterly and annual planning of strategic goals, OKR’s (Objectives and Key results), PI (Program Increment Planning) commitments etc. and ongoing measurement.
Promotes a culture of innovation by implementing Agile/lean processes and principles which include techniques to increase collaboration, predictability, transparency and velocity
Ability to work closely with Strategy and Portfolio teams to have a holistic approach to delivery and most optimally/efficiently achieve strategic outcomes
Measure maturity and progress against new ways of working
Informs strategy to optimize operating model to foster streamlined product delivery

Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.
10 or more years of technical experience
5 or more years of Cyber Security
5 or more years of management experience

Advanced experience leading special projects and producing metrics, measurements and trend reports
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Possess a solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes
Six Sigma certification or related experience
PMP certification or related experience
Demonstrated ability to run large scale, highly visible programs with responsibility for multiple project teams
Deep experience deploying Agile methodologies and practices including Scrum, Kanban and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Remote/WAH requirements:
WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$168,800 - $232,300 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
