Description

Robert Half is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager Contractor to join our client's dynamic team. As an IT Project Manager Contractor, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of various IT projects within our client's organization. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively manage resources to ensure project success!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.

  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to track progress and ensure deadlines are met.

  • Coordinate project resources, including team members, vendors, and third-party contractors, to achieve project objectives.

  • Manage project budgets and expenses, ensuring projects are completed within budgetary constraints.

  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing issues and risks in a timely manner.

  • Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and team members.

  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.

  • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.

  • Evaluate project outcomes and lessons learned to continuously improve project delivery processes.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.

  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, managing complex IT projects from initiation to completion.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Solid technical background with proficiency in IT infrastructure, systems integration, and software development.

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is preferred.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus.
