Job Summary and Qualifications
What you will do in this role:
You will assist in performance of daily pharmacy tasks (procurement, preparation, delivery, return, and restocking of medications)
You will participate in the formulary and inventory management process
You will prepare intravenous admixtures
You will facilitate customer service through communication with both internal staff and external customers
You will be responsible for and understand the use of automated pharmacy equipment and software
You will participate and assist with learning activities and other duties as assigned
What qualifications you will need:
High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge of general pharmacy practices and procedures
Interpersonal skills when interacting within and outside of the department
Enrolled in an accredited College of Pharmacy with a plan to graduate with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree within the next 3-4 years
