Position Summary
Directly manages Supply Chain Analysts performing functions such as production planning, inventory control, forecast analysis, and intra-company transfers of goods. Creates integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., operations, purchasing and logistics) and outside suppliers. Responsibilities are within the Logistics and Supply Chain Function (LSCM) as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines.
Candidate must be currently located in the Greater Nashville, TN area
Responsibilities
We are seeking a Planning Manager like you to join our Firestone Airide team!
In this position you will:
• Develops solutions to problems of complex scope and assists with projects or processes while receiving general instructions from managers
• Applies research towards the planning, design development, testing, and completion of projects
• Impact is generally longer term, while staying close with day-to-day issues in supply chain
• Continues building knowledge of organization and processes
• Able to provide direction to the team through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
• Be a team player, proficient in necessary tools (SAP, Excel, PowerPoint) to be able to cover for other LSCM team members
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or other relevant discipline
Advanced degree preferred
5 – 10 years experience in a supply chain related discipline
Advanced SAP experience in MM/PP modules required
Energized self-starter with a thirst for knowledge and a natural collaborator

Minimum Qualifications
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent work experience
