Amazon Senior Product Manager, Fleet In-Life Services in Nashville, Tennessee

Amazon is looking for a Senior Product Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional and technology projects and programs across multiple verticals.

This role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. The ideal candidate will leverage extensive project management experience, combined with deep analytical capabilities and a keen sense of innovation, to lead complex projects from conception to completion.

We are actively seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager with a strong background in strategic planning to lead key initiatives that align with our long-term business objectives. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in transforming strategic visions into actionable plans and guiding those plans to fruition.

In this role, you will be responsible for program strategies, including the development and execution of detailed project roadmaps. Your expertise in strategic planning and execution will be essential in identifying critical business opportunities and challenges, and in devising innovative solutions to address them. You will work closely with various internal teams and stakeholders, harmonizing different perspectives and ensuring cohesive efforts towards common goals.

Key job responsibilities

• Manage and oversee various cross-functional programs, ensuring successful delivery.

• Develop and refine program strategies, effectively leading and motivating teams.

• Set clear objectives for programs, leveraging data analytics to drive improvements and achieve metrics.

• Navigate and resolve ambiguities in business scenarios, applying creative problem-solving skills.

• Foster collaboration with internal and external partners to optimize resource allocation and project success.

• Evaluate and prioritize projects in conjunction with customer needs and technical team inputs.

• Bridge gaps in team dynamics, processes, and systems, preventing common project pitfalls.

• Identify and mitigate risks, preventing them from escalating into major issues.

• Regularly communicate with senior managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to support key business initiatives.

• Develop, implement, and oversee KPI reporting for a program portfolio, ensuring clear visibility of milestones and project performance.

• Manage and communicate project budgets effectively.

A day in the life

Amazon is looking for a Sr Product Manager to develop and launch new fleet programs that will change the way we think about fleet life-cycle and partner experience. This leader will work cross functionally to build new strategy, innovation and payment mechanisms for fleet life-cycle that will materially improve the Delivery Service Provider experience.

This leader will work with all stakeholders in Fleet ILS team, Fleet Management Companies, Delivery service partners, third party service providers and internal stakeholders to manage all leadership escalations, and drive new initiatives to continuously improve customer experience in ILS team.

This leader will initiate new data flows and develop analytics needed for measuring customer experience, define new process and improve existing processes to improve customer experience. This leader will analyze trends and communicate opportunities for product and service improvements with our engineering teams. The Senior Product Manager – In-Life Services will partner with both internal and external stakeholders.

This position requires experience in customer focus and in project/program management skills and data. Senior Product Manager will have experience to apply critical thinking, problem-solving, improve processes, and manage multiple priorities.

Amazon Logistics’ mission is to provide the best last mile customer experience delivering each package to the customer’s doorstep through a choice of innovative delivery options. To provide this customer experience, Amazon Logistics works closely with Last Mile Delivery Service Partners who operate and manage a fleet of vehicles and drivers. Fleet maintenance is a significant “area of opportunity”, as current options are often inefficient, ineffective, and more expensive than they should be. To mitigate these challenges, we are developing and launching transformative programs to ease the burden of fleet maintenance on our Delivery Service Providers.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
