Amazon Sr. Product Manager, Amazon Grocery Logistics Delivery in Nashville, Tennessee

The Amazon Grocery Logistics Delivery Team is looking for a Sr. Product Manager in the Delivery Operations Technology Team to manage strategic, cross-functional projects within Amazon's Grocery business with a focus on grocery partnerships. In this role, they will work across Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Product, and Finance Teams to lead new, high impact projects, as well as drive improvements to existing processes in a complex space. The role requires innovative thinking, deep dive abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills. This is a highly visible role with direct, ongoing impact to our customers’ experience. We are looking for an exceptional candidate with a proven track record in delivering results in an ambiguous, high-paced environment.

  • Drive strategic initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders, including Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Product, Tech, and Finance teams

  • Own the roadmap for Driver Experience and Customer Experience initiatives for Amazon Grocery.

  • Analyze and synthesize data to identify business opportunities for improving customer experiences and P&L

  • Define metrics and Product management mechanisms to track success of the program.

  • Invent & Simplify processes to drive decision making in highly ambiguous situations.

  • Lead reviews with leadership to communicate progress of the program.

A day in the life

  • Identifying problem statements from business stakeholders to create tech based solutions.

  • Partner with Tech teams to influence prioritization for the critical business areas.

  • Create requirements for the tech teams to utilize as a blueprint for development.

  • Test new products in a controlled setting to identify any potential gaps and confirm entitlements.

  • Partnering with Operations partners and business stakeholders to launch new products in the Grocery Business.

  • Provide support for ongoing business issues that are related to the specific ownership lane.

About the team

The Delivery Ops Tech Team within the Amazon Grocery Logistics organization owns the end-to-end vision for all technology based solutions to ongoing business needs. The team partners with a wide array of stakeholders ranging from business to tech teams. An individual on this team directly influences the end user experience for internal employees as well as the end customer.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent

  • Experience in delivering end-to-end customer research studies, including study design, fieldwork (qualitative research moderation and survey execution), analysis, recommendations, reporting and presentation of results to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
