Position Overview

The Field Services Manager will lead the continuous improvement of safety standards, expand the Brazil Field Services business, and maintain strong client relationships to identify growth opportunities. You will ensure profitability through resource optimization, define key business goals, and report results to Senior Leadership.

Location : Natal - RN

Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuous improvement of safety standards with a focus on prevention, continual education, and training of the Field Services team.

  • Grow Brazil Field Services business unit through expanding and improving execution capabilities of the FS team.

  • Maintain relationship with the Client’s key personnel and identify new opportunities to grow the FS business in Brazil.

  • Ensure profitability of the FS business unit focusing on resource optimizations and cost control.

  • Lead the definition of FS business main goals, KPI’s and report monthly results to company’s Senior Leadership.

  • Collaborate with Procurement team to identify and develop suppliers related to material and services for Major Component Exchanges (cranes – regular and uptower, tooling, etc.).

  • Work with teams from other Invenergy regions sharing best practices and lessons learned.

  • Implement high standards of quality on services execution and maintain ISO certifications (9001, 14001 and 450001).

  • Ensure FS activities are performed in compliance with Company policies and applicable norms and regulations.

  • Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline (Electrical Engineering or Automation and Control as a differential)

  • Minimum 10 years overall work experience in engineering, operations, and/or maintenance, with at least 5 years of supervisory/managerial experience leading operations teams. Direct experience in wind energy and substation knowledge (BoP) as a differential.

  • Extensive knowledge of Major Maintenance activities across multiple wind turbine platforms/different OEMs.

  • Understanding of Brazilian wind energy market and its key players.

  • Knowledge of Brazil wind industry supply chain (suppliers of: cranes, services, parts, repair shops, among others).

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

  • Able to Travel 40% of the time.

  • Able to prepare annual budgets and report results to operations director.

  • Bilingual: Portuguese and English proficiency (Spanish desirable).

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
