U.S. Pacific Fleet, Commander in Chief SUPERVISORY INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in Naval Air Station San Diego, California
Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the COMMANDER, AVIATION SUPPLY DEPARTMENT of HELICOPTER MARITIME STRIKE WING PAC. Responsibilities You will be responsible for daily operations of the Requisition Control Unit (RCU), Technical Research Unit (TRU), Program Management Unit (PMU), Pre-Expended Bin Unit (PEB), Material Delivery Unit (MDU) and Customer Service. You will supervise civilian and oversees military personnel at various pay grades. You will oversee the processing of all material requirements, including verification and technical research of requisition data and closing of transactions. You will perform comprehensive review of work methods and procedures. You will determine training requirements, develop training plans, conduct training, and evaluate effectiveness. You will exercise and implement program responsibility for supply systems and their interfaces. You will work independently or as a team leader performing management studies, analysis and evaluation, development of solutions and preparation of recommendations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing and coordinating inventory operations for an aviation supply department to meet the material needs of fleet activities.
