JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are hiring a Director of Product Development - Connected Technology!!! The Director of Product Development - Connected Technology, will lead TIDI\'s connected technology product development team, integrating IoT into existing and new medical devices for the benefit of caregivers and patients. This individual will establish internal systems and will build a team of software and other interdisciplinary engineers and marketers to accomplish business objectives. This position can work remotely within the US, with the ability to travel, as needed, to any of our facilities. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the integration and ongoing maintenance of connected technology into our existing product line, ensuring seamless functionality and adherence to regulatory standards. Build and manage a multi-disciplinary engineering and marketing team to develop new products and create a pipeline of ongoing development in this clinical area through internal and external needs finding. Partner with Quality and Regulatory to develop necessary internal procedures for compliance Partner with Business Intelligence teams on data management and reporting Own intellectual property strategy and execution with external council Collaborate closely with product management and other company stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans. Demonstrate and actively supports TIDI Products, LLC Mission, Vision, Values, Value Discipline and Behavior CORE VALUES & GUIDING PRINCIPLES: Understands internal and external customers * Assure a safe work environment * Encourage individual development * Demonstrates teamwork and flexibility/adaptability * Demonstrates honesty * Keep our commitments * Think systemically and ensure constancy of purpose * Lead with humility and respect every individual * Focus on process, embrace scientific thinking, flow and pull value, assure quality at the source and seek perfection QUALIFICATIONS: Proven experience (10+ years) working in product development (3+ of med device preferred) and at least 5 years managing/hiring engineering teams, preferably in the connected medical technology industry Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent experience Experience with cloud computing platforms Experience leveraging outsourced teams as needed to supplement internal team. * Subject matter expertise software development processes, with a focus on embedded systems and IoT connected technologies. * Familiarity with relevant standards including security and privacy * Familiarity with hardware, data analysis and visualization * Ability to manage requirements and interactions...
