Description
As PC Tech Team Supervisor, you’ll be a hands-on leader of the team responsible for the installation, maintenance, monitoring, and support of all hardware and software installed in our end users’ work areas. You’ll get to dig in and work collaboratively within and outside of the systems team to not just identify and resolve root cause issues, but to help plan and implement desktop technologies. As our PC Tech Team Supervisor with Community First Credit Union, you will:
Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure professionals. Provide the technical guidance and leadership to ensure the team delivers effective problem resolution, while consulting with co-workers and vendors and communicating to stakeholders
Coordinate, prioritize, participate in, and escalate the execution of the workload for the team, including tickets, operational activities, and projects
Ensure a positive and secure end-user experience by delivering high quality and consistent processes for installing, managing, maintaining, and supporting all desktop hardware and software
Ensure technology is deployed efficiently and effectively, resulting in consistent, high quality, secure, and reliable functionality after deployment
Foster relationships with other teams by collaborating and assisting with procedure creation necessary to drive quick problem resolution
Coordinate, communicate, and execute our annual Lifecycle Management plan for desktop hardware and software
Ensure accurate asset management, data security, and process control execution.
Analyze problems for patterns and corrective actions and work with other IT leaders to adjust processes in order to continually improve the functionality, availability and security of end user devices
An ideal candidate will have a combination of the following:
Associate’s degree in business, information systems, or related program
3-5 years driving end-user technologies as an individual contributor and/or project lead or team lead - this is a great opportunity for someone with strong hands-on experience who is looking to take the next step towards leadership
Deep expertise in the use and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows and Office suite, Wi-Fi, Active Directory, VoIP, PowerShell, Group Policy, ticketing systems, and OS imaging automation
Strong problem-solving and communication ability; demonstrated good judgement in evaluating daily tasks and priorities
Ability to multi-task, pivot as priorities change, and effectively organize and delegate work
Passion for process and all the details that come with it
Frequent local travel between credit union branch locations is required
