Position Overview: As a Traffic Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our transportation operations. You will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining effective communication with internal teams and external partners. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Logistics Coordination: Plan and coordinate dock appointment schedule to ensure timely shipment and delivery of freight. Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff, customer service teams, 3PL, and carries to ensure seamless operations and effective communication throughout the transportation process. Communication: Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers to ensure all parties are informed about freight scheduled and any change that may occur. Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documents, including bills of lading, customer specific paperwork, and customs documents. Issue Resolution: Address and resolve transportation related issues with internal teams and external partners to maintain service quality. Organization: Proficiency in maintaining organized systems for shipments using tools like spreadsheets, checklists, or other software.
