The jobholder as part of the automation group provides technical support for the existing installations and expertise in small project related to systems improvement.
Activities requiring automation need to be performed, designed, installed, commissioned and qualified according to the related cGMP and Good Automated Manufacturing Practice ( GAMP ), it is the jobholder’s responsibility to ensure its application.
Essential duties and responsabilities
Providing technical support for automated system users
Supporting the automation on Call 24/7 organization
Supporting the user or service groups with expertise and resources if required
Updated with the current good Engineering practices
Plans, assess, executes and reviews interventions on existing systems
Providing support and expertise for optimizing PCS and special equipment
Calm and able to work under pressure
Working with multi-disciplinary teams:
Supporting technical aspects of a Change Control related to Automation
Working closely with the Change Control owner to implement automation requirements
Reviewing the user requirements together with the user and site Engineers
Preparing cost estimations/calculations for the technical modifications
Preparing the final technical documentation
Review and approval of PCS execution documentation
Providing technical solutions that are technically appropriate meeting user requirements and are economically reasonable
Identify and understand user requirements for modifications
Find appropriate solutions to meet the user requirements from technical as well as economical point of view
Identify priorities in collaboration with superior and user
Be aware of the current state of the art in the field of automation technologies and GAMP
Challenge oriented, able to work autonomously
Education & Experience
Automation and/or electronic technical degree or equivalent
Preferably 2-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical/chemical/ food industry
Experience in automation programming ( Rockwell PLC5, Control Logix, Siemens STEP7 )
Knowledge of supervision software iFIX, Visual Basic code experience
Good experience with the Microsoft tools
Flexible working time framework (40 hours per week)
On call 24/7 support ( approximately 5 to 6 weeks per year)
