Aerotek Welder in New Albany, Indiana

Welder/Fabricator - (New Albany, IN) - 1st Shift

Responsibilities:

  • You will be primarily engaged in custom welding conveyor systems on a daily basis using MIG Welding.

  • Starting with a blueprint, you will gather materials, tack weld the parts together, and then perform MIG welding.

  • Post welding, you will grind the parts to a smooth finish.

  • The work environment is a fabrication shop focused on manufacturing material handling systems and equipment, with a significant emphasis on airport conveyor systems.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of MIG welding experience

  • TIG experience is a major PLUS

  • Fabricating

  • Blueprint reading

  • Grinding

  • Sanding

  • Measuring devices
