Responsibilities Position Overview: Join our 10-week program in the Engineering and Continuous Improvement organization for the Summer of 2025! This internship will focus on manufacturing improvement through project management and continuous improvement. This role will support the delivery of business KPI’s through collaboration, communication, and technical capabilities. Responsible for positively impacting Bob Evan’s business and consumers by completing challenging and meaningful projects. Accountabilities: Develop and adjust production layouts, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like Quality, Safety, Output, Downtime, and Staffing needs. Set targets and lead projects from product planning to production launch. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies. Uphold quality and food safety policies. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing and improving existing processes. Minimize waste using lean manufacturing techniques like value stream mapping, process balancing, and waste reduction. Manage and execute capital projects. Contribute to engineering design and standards development. Drive ongoing improvement using LEAN, TPM, and Six Sigma methodologies. Optimize mechanical and electrical designs and processes. Engage in Kaizen and value stream mapping activities to enhance operations. Qualifications Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in an Engineering related discipline Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively with company peers and Post Holdings partners Strong interpersonal skills - Listening and informing others effectively; excellent negotiating and influencing skills at all levels both internal and external Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimal direction. Must be a self-motivated self-starter Must possess the ability to always maintain external and internal confidentiality
