DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Job ID: 500909
SUMMARY Performs general labor duties including cleaning barges of coal (or other products) before barge can be loaded with aggregate.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Walking along the barges to get to the area to clean. * Climbing a rope or a ladder down into the barge. * Using hand brooms or shovels to clean corners and anything the equipment misses. * Working in close proximity with a small clean up loader, bobcat and crane (that swings a clam bucket down into the barge to dip out coal and other contaminants). * Moving pumps as needed. * Assisting with tying off barges. * Other duties as assigned.
