Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

• Responsible for maintenance on hydraulic presses, Fanuc robots, various assembly machines, conveyor lines, and air handling equipment.
• Maintain pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, sensors, gears, drives, AC/DC, pumps, gearboxes, motor controls, electronic systems, light systems, rigging, and other secondary equipment.
• Perform general building maintenance on boilers, HVAC units, plumbing, light ballast, and other maintenance tasks.
• Perform MIG and Stick welding.
• Read blueprints and schematics.
• Electrical troubleshooting from 24V AC/DC up to 480V single phase and three phase.
• PLC troubleshooting.
• Handle breakdowns through work orders in a CMMS system and follow a PM schedule.
• Monitor equipment performance.
• Ensure production lines are running efficiently.
• Work on SMP presses and install new equipment as needed.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in NORTH BALTIMORE, Ohio.

Work Environment

Openings available for 2nd shift (3 openings) and 3rd shift (4 openings). 1st shift: 6 AM to 2 PM 2nd shift: 2 PM to 10 PM 3rd shift: 10 PM to 6 AM Currently working most Saturdays (no Sundays) with up to 4 mandatory shifts a month. Optional overtime during the week. Direct Hire. Pay: $38.80/hr ($0.35/hr shift differential for 3rd shift, $1 shift differential for 2nd shift). Starting pay for 2nd shift: $39.80/hr. Starting pay for 3rd shift: $39.15/hr. Pay increases: $40.35/hr in Sept 2025, $42.37/hr in Sept 2026. Facility environment: Epoxy smell, similar to paint. Older machinery with ongoing updates and expansions. Hot automotive factory environment. Union facility - UAW (2.5 hours for dues). Large Tier 1 automotive client with 400+ employees on site.
