Child & Family Services Program Director - School-Based in New Bedford, Massachusetts
Job description Child & Family Services is looking for a full-time School-Based Program Director for our New Bedford site. The Program Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the School-Based clinical services within the guidelines of the Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) and ensures that clinical standards and administrative requirements for the program are fully met. Starting Rate - \$70,720 per year / \$34 per hour Qualifications A completed Master?s degree in Clinical Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling or Clinical Psychology or other clinical licensure eligible degree program is required This individual must be independently licensed with an LICSW, LMHC or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts Prior supervisory experience preferred Responsibilities The following responsibilities are not meant to be all inclusive and may be adjusted to meet the agency?s needs Direct all school-based services in the Greater Fall River area Maintain positive relationships with key school and district personnel Expand services to additional schools as requested Provide supervision and leadership to school-based clinical staff Work with VP of site or Clinical Program Director to develop annual production and budget projections Manage the operation of the program within context of the budget including production expectations for all staff Manage the selection of school-based clinical staff and maintenance of staffing schedules including school assignments Participate in planning and development of clinic services and establishment of policies and procedures within a managed care framework Work with and collaborate with other systems (intake department, billing department, and medical department) to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the School-Based Program Participate within the multi-disciplinary team as needed Member of the CQI committee; participates in CQI activities including program development, program evaluation and outcomes studies Provide direct clinical services to individuals, families and groups using short-term focused therapy approaches while maintaining record keeping requirements as needed Represent the agency?s interests in the community Work with other Child & Family sites as needed to assist them in developing school-based services Perform other duties as required Maintain regular and timely attendance Possess excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills Promote high staff morale and team atmosphere within department Possess a valid driver?s license and reliable transportation Adhere to the agency?s policy regarding confidentiality Maintain a positive attitude Adhere to all policies set forth in the employee manual Have a commitment to the agency?s philosophy and the ability to translate this to others
