Job Title: CAD Drafter
Job Description
We are currently undergoing a transition from Creo to SolidWorks and seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to assist in converting files. This is a 12-month contract position with the potential to become a permanent role based on performance. The primary responsibility will be converting Creo files to SolidWorks, which may require creating new drawings and assemblies from scratch in SolidWorks. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and work in a clean, dynamic environment with smart and driven individuals.
Responsibilities
Convert files from Creo to SolidWorks.
Create models and drawings from scratch in SolidWorks.
Draft new parts if they cannot be found in existing files.
Ensure accurate grammar of drafting in all drawings.
Test and verify the accuracy of converted files.
Essential Skills
1+ years of drafting experience.
1+ years of experience with Creo.
1+ years of experience with SolidWorks.
Proficiency in creating models and drawings in SolidWorks.
Strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
Work Environment
The work environment is an R&D office with a business casual dress code. Most individuals wear jeans, and some wear t-shirts. The office hours are flexible, with most employees arriving between 7:30-8:00am and leaving between 4:00-5:00pm. The facility is clean, and you will be working with smart and driven individuals.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00
