This is a position with grade 17This position reports to Supply Chain Manager - System DrivesYour role and responsibilities As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB\'s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is: On-site/Hybrid This role is contributing to Supply Chain Management in the US System Drives Division. You will be mainly accountable for: *Collaborating with various teams to support ABB\'s operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within the defined timelines. *Collecting, analyzing and visualizing supply chain data. *Mapping procurement processes and participating in process improvement initiatives. *Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts. *Seeking feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills.Qualifications for the role Currently enrolled in a bachelor\'s or master\'s degree program in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or other relevant field in the United States. Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future. Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progressMore about us We look forward to...
