Posting Summary | The Center for Materials Theory (CMT) at Rutgers University is seeking outstanding postdoctoral associates to join our team of researchers. Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Associate position in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics, beginning in September 2024. The CMT expects to fill one opening for an Abrahams Postdoctoral Fellow, who will have enhanced freedom to work with multiple faculty members under the auspices of the CMT. In addition, several grant-funded positions associated with specific faculty are also anticipated. The group consists of Professors Natan Andrei, Premi Chandra, Piers Coleman, Kristjan Haule, Gabi Kotliar, Jed Pixley, Karin Rabe, Ananda Roy, David Vanderbilt, and Emil Yuzbashyan. Their interests span a broad range of areas including strongly correlated fermion materials, high-temperature superconductivity, topological electronic states of matter, developments and applications of computational methods at the density-functional and dynamical mean-field-theory levels, metal-insulator and structural phase transitions, quantum critical points, nonlinear and anomalous responses, ultracold atoms, non-perturbative field-theory, integrable models, mesoscopic physics, non-equilibrium quantum and classical dynamics, time evolution of exactly solvable models, quantum computation and information theory, and dynamics of quantum information. The applicant's cover letter should mention the names of faculty members whose interests are most closely aligned with those of the candidate. Note that the Resume/CV must include a publication list. |
