CICV Environment Products QA Team is looking to hire an Environment QA Engineer to join our team in Cairo, Egypt.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering.

  • 0-5 years of relevant experience.

  • Proficiency in Software Programming/Testing, with a strong grasp of Analog/Mixed-Signal IC design flow.

  • Familiarity or interest in QA methodology and development tools (e.g., version management, defect management, test coverage) is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell scripting, Python, or SKILL.

  • Experience with analog design or CAD engineering using Cadence Virtuoso® or Synopsys Custom Designer® analog design environments.

  • Familiarity with commercial Spice simulators and analog circuit characterization techniques (e.g., Monte Carlo simulation, Corner simulation, etc.).

  • Knowledge of C++ and Object-Oriented concepts.

  • Understanding of GUI testing principles (including knowledge of Qt and Squish) and familiarity with Hardware Description Languages like Verilog and/or VHDL is advantageous.

Main responsibilities

  • Strive to achieve a high standard of quality in the Solido Design Environment.

  • Take ownership of defining the test plan and contribute to the quality plan for each release, collaborating with development and marketing teams.

  • Develop diverse test cases to assess new features using analog design languages.

  • Investigate customer-reported defects and automate corresponding test cases.

  • Execute appropriate tests, analyze test reports, diagnose issues, communicate them to development teams, and potentially propose solutions.

  • Assess various product qualities, focusing particularly on Usability (GUI) attributes, considering different quality attributes (FURPS).

  • Evaluate test coverage and propose enhancements.

  • Utilize products as a designer, identifying issues and offering suggestions for improvement.

  • Collaborate closely with the development team to streamline the development and validation process within an Agile framework.
