Siemens EDA's Digital Verification Technologies (DVT) division is seeking 2 highly skilled Frontend Web Development Engineers to join our open positions within the DVT Creation, Static, and Formal R&D team. If you're enthusiastic about crafting web UI software and driven to make a substantial difference in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, these roles are ideal for you. In this position, you'll have the chance to become part of a geographically diverse development team dedicated to creating reusable web interfaces for various applications.

Responsibilities

  • Enhancing and refining software components for formal verification to meet quality, scalability, modifiability, extensibility, and testability criteria.

  • Ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product across all necessary platforms.

  • Proficiency in comprehending intricate products, solutions, and challenges.

  • Grasping product requirements, conducting experiments, and performing scientific analyses.

  • Developing, documenting, and implementing software designs involving complex workflows or multiple product domains.

  • Facilitating communication among software developers, application engineers, and product owners to innovate and enhance critical aspects of the software.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of frontend web development experience, including successful delivery of complex projects.

  • Expertise in frontend frameworks/libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js, alongside proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).

  • Thorough understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards, with experience in CSS pre-processors and UI design tools like Figma.

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript design patterns, architectural patterns (MVC, Redux), and state management using Redux.

  • Proficiency in optimizing frontend code for performance, scalability, and maintainability, including unit and end-to-end testing frameworks.

  • Ability to propose and implement innovative solutions leveraging emerging technologies, with a commitment to continuous learning.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide technical guidance and support in a remote, geographically distributed team.

  • Additional qualifications: Experience with microservices (gRPC, Protobuf), hardware description languages (SystemVerilog, VHDL, SystemC/C++), formal methods, and cloud services.
