The Digital Verification Technologies (DVT) division at Siemens is seeking a highly qualified Software Development Engineer to join the DVT Creation, Static and Formal R&D team.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to become a part of a widely geographically distributed development team focused on strategic Creation, Static, and Formal tools of DVT.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal and overseas developers to comprehend and manage interdependencies of project tasks, and discussing implementation details.
Participate in project planning and tracking, task investigation, work breakdown, and schedule estimation, while keeping the project lead informed of project status and risks.
Engage in the development of complex software applications, understanding and implementing features, and resolving bugs without disrupting existing functionality.
Provide basic coverage for implemented features, executing software test suites, and investigating failures.
Adhere to software processes throughout the software development cycle, and delivering high-quality code.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
2+ years of experience.
Familiarity with software engineering best practices such as reviews, design documentation, and testing.
Proficiency in modern C++, object-oriented programming, and experience with UNIX/LINUX platforms.
Strong programming and software engineering abilities.
Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
Ability to optimize code for enhanced performance and memory usage.
Experience with HDL languages like VHDL and Verilog is advantageous.
Experience with web technologies is a plus.
Strong inclination towards learning, exploration, and innovation with complex technologies.
Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to articulate ideas and share knowledge effectively with others.
