Aerotek General Production Worker in New Carlisle, Indiana

Description

-This position is an entry level manufacturing associate in a steel slitting type of environment. This person will be cross trained really in 3 different jobs (outlined below). The two skills that they need to have is being able to use and operate a computer AND ability to lift up to 35 pounds when necessary.

PRODUCTION SUPPORT:

-This role will be responsible for moving materials at the beginning or end of the process to the appropriate area that it needs to get to. They will primarily use overhead cranes and pallet jacks to get materials to where it needs to go in the plant. This person will work with all departments in the plant.

MACHINE OPEARTING:

-This is 100% a button pusher that will be loading material on/off machine. Typical run times last 30 minutes or so, before the next batch of material is loaded in. They are going to be "babysitting the machine for roughly 30 minutes at time before the next order starts getting up and running.

COATER:

-This role in in a paint room - very similiar to the machine operator except it's in a painting/coating type environment. Run times here are closer to 15 minutes before the coating material needs to be reloaded into the machine.

HOURS:

-4PM-4AM (2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off)
