Acadia Healthcare Activity Coordinator PRN in New Castle, Delaware

Description

Organize, lead and promote interest in recreational activities to patients and their families.

Greet new patients to activities, introducing them to other participants and staff, explaining programs, rules and encouraging participation.

Explain the rules of activities and instruct participants at a variety of skill levels, enforce safety rules to prevent injury.

Modify activities to suit the needs of specific groups.

Administer basic first aid.

Organize and set up the equipment that is used in recreational activities.

Document activities in the patient record per facility requirements, seek clinical supervision and support when complications arise in dealing with a patient either in an individual or group setting.

Assist in the assessment of patients of the facility.
