Description
We have partnered with a successful service provider on their search for an outgoing, Senior Accountant who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. In this role, the Senior Accountant will prepare journal entries, perform account and bank reconciliations, oversee accounts receivable and payable transactions, manage the payroll process, implement revenue generating policies and procedures, monitor cash flow activities, enforce internal controls, process bank reconciliations, and ensure budget obligations are met. The successful candidate for this role will have sharp analytical skills, excellent time management, highly organized and have a keen eye for details.
Major Responsibilities
· Implement revenue generating core values
· Prepare financial reports/statements
· Maintain general ledger
· Provide financial analysis
· Month End Close
· Audit Preparation
· Maintain fixed assets ledger
· Oversee intercompany reconciliations
· Ad hoc research projects
· Ensure compliance with GAAP
Requirements
The ideal Senior Accountant MUST have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
Other requirements for the Senior Accountant role include and are not limited to:
· 5+ years of hands-on experience with month-end close, GL, financial reporting
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
· Any ERP expertise, prefer SAP
· Strong US GAAP and IFRS knowledge
