Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities
Design and architect robust solutions
Strong communications / presentation skills. Strong collaboration skills and able to demonstrate a pragmatic approach.
Collaborate with project managers and solution architects to accurately deliver cloud architecture projects on time and within budget.
Assess and develop current architecture and readiness for cloud implementation, introducing new solutions and modernization strategies for the platforms.
Develop detailed-level design requirements for architecture implementations, optimizing platform and integration strategies for cost-effective delivery of scalable and reliable distributed systems.
Create delivery guides, assessments, and common architecture patterns for cloud architecture projects.
Collaborate with cloud engineers and developers to deliver end-to-end solutions for clients.
Implement best practices for backup and recovery techniques for applications in GCP, Azure private cloud focusing on continuous deployment, cloud security, governance, configuration management, and continuous integration.
Design systems integrations, ingestion patterns, target and transition architectures, and roadmaps.
Resolve Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return on Investment (ROI) for the data platform and data products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable and efficient solutions.
Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices to streamline data pipeline implementation and maintenance.
Provide expertise in API integration and data governance for smooth data flows across systems.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends in engineering and analytics.
Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
Experience in Treasury any of the following:
Asset Liability Management, Interest Rate Risk domains
An understanding of valuation and risk measures. An understanding of data dimensionality for different risk measures
Capital planning and reporting (BCAR)
Liquidity regulatory reporting (e.g. 2052a, LCR, NSFR)
Demonstrable experience in the design of large-scale engines, both batch and intraday, serving multiple regions
Experience in building reporting solutions for stakeholders
A high-level understanding of risk analytics and how they operate internally.
Required Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Certification in TOGAF 9 or 10;
Financial experience and treasury experience.
Proficiency and Certification in GCP and GKE or Azure.
Solid understanding of data and analytics principles and methodologies.
Experience implementing foundational cloud services (networking, security, account/organizations, logging & monitoring, identity access management, etc.).
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
Experience in software development using languages such as Java, Python, C#.
Experience in large-scale migration of application workloads from on-prem or collocated data centers to a cloud platform.
Experience working with Azure, GCP or AWS, and private cloud compute, storage, micro-service applications, platform serverless frameworks, API gateway, CI/CD, and cloud-based services.
Experience implementing cloud controls, security, monitoring technologies, as well as hands-on experience instrumenting alerts based on aggregated logs and analytics output and audit services.
Experience with infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation.
Experience managing container orchestrated workloads such as Kubernetes/Docker.
Experience developing DevOps, Site Reliability, and Solutions Architecture methodologies and practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
