As a Key Account Manager for the Domestic Circulator Pumps category, the primary responsibility is to facilitate sales growth and expansion of the circulators business in INDO region through trade channels/OEMs. The KAM will be responsible for identifying and closing sales deals for specific heat pump OEMs for the domestic circulator pumps category and will also be accountable for delivering profitable sales growth as defined in the annual budget and strategic plan for the assigned region. The KAM will develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, identify new business opportunities, and promote Grundfos circulators to better meet the needs of existing markets.

What is the job about?

Overall, your tasks will cover:

  • Actively listen and engage with Heat pump OEMs to identify how Grundfos’ Circulators supports their business needs and strategically close sales deals.

  • Develop customer-specific value propositions and conduct improvement studies along with the customers.

  • Deliver profitable sales growth as defined in the annual budget and strategic plan for the business

  • Provide retail strategy for circulators by building and maintaining good relationships with distributors, dealers, service partners, and other stakeholders such as architects, consultants etc.

  • Identify new business opportunities, such as new markets, new partnerships, and new ways to reach existing markets.

  • Keep updated on market trends and competition and develop business strategies including sales & marketing plans.

  • Report directly to the Regional Sales Director and deal with stakeholders, such as area sales managers, distributors, back-office staff, marketing, operations, pricing etc.

  • Explore neighboring countries for export opportunities of circulators from India

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Master’s degree in Business Administration

  • At least 5-8 years of experience working with Circulator Pumps sales

  • You have experience implementing on strategies and strategic initiatives within a complex business environment, especially in a large matrix organization

  • You have solid knowledge of best practices and relevant systems within similar commercial area
