An industry leader in water utilities is seeking a Director of Engineering to join its team in New Haven, CT. As Director of Engineering, you will be overseeing capital projects, installations, and maintenance activities for this nonprofit, water utility organization. This position requires you to manage a team of 7-11 individuals with leadership support to various other teams as needed.
Candidates should have a PE or be able to obtain reciprocity in the state of CT and a degree in Civil, environmental, mechanical, or chemical engineering. Candidates should also have at least 10 years of experience in water/wastewater including working with municipalities, understanding regulations, wells, and engineering projects.
This role is expected to be hybrid as business needs dictate, after your initial onboarding/ramp-up period.
