About the role Berk-Tek, a Leviton Company, is looking for a Material Handler to join their copper network cable manufacturing operations in New Holland, PA! This position is responsible for processing materials to support production by performing the duties involved in receiving, stocking, issuing, and/or shipping materials/supplies. Operates material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Starting pay of $21.00 and up based on experience. Shift premium of $1.25 for working 3rd shift. Desirable shift schedules! 12-hour workdays on overnight shift (7 pm – 7 am). We work a 2-3-2 schedule. Week 1: 2 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on Week 2: 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off Responsibilities Supports production by pulling and delivering all materials necessary to complete shop orders Supports receiving by verifying conformance to invoices and stocking all received components on the appropriate shelf location Verifies and maintains product identification and count Prepares inventory records and investigates discrepancies in stock counts Performs weigh counts for materials and stores them as necessary Obtains, moves, sorts and packages products and materials Qualifications Certified to operate both sit-down and stand-up forklifts, required Understanding of basic math skills – adding, subtracting and measuring Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written format Ability to multi-task Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to use judgement related to identifying potential safety hazards Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED, required Minimum three (3) months forklift experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment What We Offer Comprehensive benefits include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance programs 401K plans with employer-matching contributions Tuition reimbursement PTO Paid holidays Volunteer time off For more information about benefits, please go to: https://careers.leviton.com/benefits Leviton is an EEO/AA Employer.
