Accounting Assistant- - Hudson
Bayonet Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning, a division of IES, is looking for an individual with the following skills to serve as a Full-Time Accounting Assistant.
Essential Functions of this position are to record payments to customers accounts and to maintain accounts receivable records by performing the following duties:
Prepare daily deposits and fill out receivable control sheet daily.
Maintain and update accounts receivable ledger by customer.
Obtain and mail invoice copies for customers as requested.
Process daily credit card deposits.
Research and process customer claims of invoice payments.
Research and process charge backs, returns and bad checks.
Answer account receivable phone inquiries and follow ups.
Knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing is a plus but not a requirement.
