Eaton Corporation Technical Support Engineer in New Taipei City, Taiwan

What you’ll do:

Technical Support Engineer is responsible for solving UPS/PD application issues. Primary tasks include analyzing failure, gathering information from internal experts about product capabilities relative to specific customer needs, finishing root cause report, and determines appropriate solution and/or responses. Design, develop, deliver, and manage training to support sales efforts.

  • Provide UPS/PD technical support to analyze failure, include wiring, installation, configuration, start up UPS/PD operation and so on, to solve UPS/PD application issues.

  • Collect application requirement information to draft reports and finish root cause report for closed UPS/PD issues under investigation.

  • Provide product/application training to senior service, when required.

  • Coordinate with others in completing the assigned tasks, such as UPS/PD Factory Acceptance Test based on projects in Lab.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Automation or Electrical Engineering.

  • Related experience in UPS technical support, UPS/PD development, or related role e.g. application engineer within the Power Supply Equipment, Power inverter, UPS, PD.

  • Good communication skills and coordination skill.

  • Oral/Written English will be a plus.
