Siemens Mobility US is looking for aspiring data experts to come aboard for a 6 month internship journey where they will get exposure to what happens behind the scenes to make the rail world go round.

During your journey with us, you will have the opportunity to help build and align the data models used to optimize internal workflows, as well as improve existing Finance Excellence projects.

A little bit about us :

Siemens Mobility provides efficient and coordinated transportation of people and goods by rail – including rolling stock, rail automation, rail electrification, and service. We craft and manufacture across the entire spectrum of rolling stock, including commuter and regional passenger trains, light rail and streetcars, metros, locomotives, passenger coaches, and high-speed trainsets. Cities and Railroads also rely on us to provide traction-power substations and electricity transmission, as well as signaling and control technology for freight and passenger rail and transit systems.

Basic Qualifications:

Must be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university

Legal authorization to work in the US is required

Must reside or go to school near internship location

Root Cause Analysis theoretical and practical knowledge

Experience with 3D Drawing Tools, such as Pro/E or Crew View is a plus

Experience with Excel

Familiarity with the latest trends in artificial intelligence and machine learning

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0

Previous internship experience or relevant school projects

Strong communication skills – verbal and written

Interest in exploring failure mode analysis using FMECA Testing
